Wings Over Africa Aviation Limited was registered on 19th January 2006 and incorporated in May 2006. Its head office is situated in the Nairobi Business District Center on Koinange Street, Cianda House, 2nd floor, suite 208 and with its operations office at Wilson Airport.

Wings Over Africa Aviation Limited is registered under the companies ACT in Kenya Certificate of Incorporation number C125320, The City Council Of Nairobi License number BP0425009 and Kenya Civil Aviation Authority ASL O439, Kenya Revenue Authority Personal Identification Certificate Number P051181195W, Value Added Tax registration number 0154880V so it is fully licensed to operate.Wings Over Africa Aviation Limited  had  a change of Board of Directors  as one director resigned  in 2010 and the changes  were effected immediately  and  the directors are as below.We also provide consultancy services on lease management for short and long term both on dry and wet lease on fixed wing,jets and helicopters.With the experience of our personnel having worked for airlines and general aviation and with the experience we are able to work out your needs in the most economical manner by doing back to back logistics for travel and tour company's that have big groups so that we maximize on profits and time by providing technical advice on whether it will cheaper to use private charter flights or scheduled flights to the tourists destination in their itinerary.This why we are there to ensure our clients is given different options to choose from and the ultimate decision remains with the client due to budget and the nature of the safari that he/she is taking.We believe in being destination airport and we are there to provide private jet flights,VIP Jet flights,private air taxi flights.For those who have patients who needs to be uplifted to the nearest hospital with medical treatment we are on 24/7 call will an operational office with doctors,nurses ,operations staff,pilots and engineers ready to dispatch a flight but NOTE OUT WILSON IS BY 2030 HRS AS THE AIRPORT DOES NOT OPERATE ON 24/7 but if you anticipate an emergency or an air ambulance then we can position Jomo Kenyatta airport which operates 24 hours or Moi International airport Mombasa.For emergency evacuation flights the same will apply and we have aircraft with pressurized cabin and jets which can be used to execute this operations for long haul flights and for short flights we have helicopters and 5 and 12 seats aircraft to execute.We have segmented our services into private cargo & freight flights,air ambulance,emergency evacuation flights ,scenic flights, filming flights,aerial survey & safety and are type rated on the aircraft they fly and for single and twin piston engine aircraft they have over 700 hours with 300 hours in command whereas on the turbo prop single engine they have over 1,500 hours with 500 hour in command and on turbo prop twin engine they have over 2,500 with 1000 hours in command and on jets they have over 3,500 hours with 1,500 in command thus giving you the confidence and comfort to fly with us and the aircraft we lease or sub-charter when we have high demand we ensure the aircraft and pilot used are experienced and type rated on that aircraft and we ensure all the paperwork including insurance,certificate of maintenance,certificate of airworthiness and pilots licenses are valid to ensure our clients are given safe and reliable services.We remain to committed to providing any reliable information should it arise in terms of change of aircraft,delay due to weather and in-case of increment in charter costs we also indicate on the terms and conditions of our services to ensure there are no last minute disappointments.

Our team

Chairman: Capt Erick A Lugalia.

He is a pilot by professional and currently flying for Kenya Airways and also in-charge of the board of directors for Wings Over Africa Aviation Limited. He has over 5,000 hrs flying experience have trained in United States of American before joining Kenya School of Flying for his conversion. He is rated on C-172, PA-34, C-208, B200 SUPER King-air, B1900, B737-300, and B737-800 he holds Airline Transport Pilot License. He has worked for general aviation at Wilson Airport before joining Kenya Airways in October 2005.He worked for World Food Programme, UNCAS in Somalia & South Sudan, DR Congo and for DHL flying parcels to Entebbe, Kigali, and Daresaalam.He is on the committee for pilot recruitment, safety and training. He is currently pursuing his masters in Aviation Management at East Africa School of Aviation. Recently he was promoted and he flies the CRJ Embraer 170/190 as captain.

Managing Director. Anthony A Juma.

He is in-charge of the entire operations and he oversees,finance,customer service,marketing, administration,reservations and flight operations. He holds a degree in Business Administration (ABE) with advanced diploma in Sales& Marketing, Operations & Flight Dispatch, and Customer Service with over 22 years experience in aviation industry and he is currently pursuing his masters in Business Administration specializing in strategic marketing. He has held senior position as Operations & Marketing Manager for over 10 years and 2 years as General Manager before joining Wings Over Africa Aviation Limited as Managing Director & director in 2006 up to date. He has a wealth of experience in air charter services for both cargo & passengers .He was the operations Manager for Aircraft Leasing Services Limited from 1997 to 1999 handling World Food Programme, UNICEF, PSF,ICRC,UNHCR contracts among others .He initiated the franchise for INTERLINK on the Nairobi-Lokichogio route with ALS in 1999 and also the scheduled service Nairobi-Mara,Mombasa-Mara,Nairobi-Lokichogio among others. He joined Kenya Aeronav as Marketing Manager and won contracts with international organizations ,Government Ministries,Tours & Travel Companies like Kencell no Airtel,Kenya National Examination Council, Siemens, Securicor Security Services now G4 Securicor,Judicial Commission of Kenya,Micato,Somalia,Kenya Wildlife Trails,A&K ,Private Safaris, Electoral Commission of Kenya among others. He has over 22 years of experience in Air Ambulance Flights, Contract Flying, Scenic Flights,Scheduled & non-scheduled flights for cargo & passengers, humanitarian & relief flights for cargo & passengers, cargo flights ,helicopter flights, aerial survey & photography flights among other aviation related activities. At Wings over Africa Aviation Limited he has managed to build a client portfolio with Non-Governmental Organizations, International Organization,  Government Ministries, Tours & Travel Companies both local and a broad. Executive  Director. Violet Nyatundo Ngolo.

She was brought on the Board of Directors as an executive  director  after the resignation of the founder member and Chairman of the Board opted out. She  is a director  of other firms in Tourism and hardware  industry.She has a wealth of experience in the business world and her inclusion on to Wings Over Africa Aviation Limited Board of Directors shows how gender sensitive the company is and it also due to her experience and investments prospects that she has been able to enter onto the Board.She has done business administration course up to the Diploma level and she is an administrator by  profession.She will ensure the experience she has she shares with everyone at Wings Over Africa Aviation Limited and even with our existing and customers to come for the efficiency,reliability and effectiveness of the services offered by ensuring  the customers needs and complains are handled to their satisfaction.

Sales & Marketing Department.

It is headed by personnel with an advanced diploma in business administration, sales & marketing, customer care. Its role is to carry out continuous research & development and ensure our clients are given quality of their money. This department also has designed a feedback form where clients put their suggestions and comments that will assist the firm in improving their services to meet customer expectations and needs. It also checks on the similar products and services that our competitors provide to ensure we out shine them. They always bring innovative and creative ideas on how to make the firms services different from our competitors. They do both tele marketing, door to door campaign, online marketing to create awareness of our services regionally and globally. They also handle customers complains as they are the ones who search during marketing campaign and they ensure what they promise the client is what is provided.

Operations & Reservations Department.

This department is headed by personnel with a diploma in operations & flight dispatch and customer care. This department controls and allocates aircraft and crew considering all the safety aspects including validity of crew license, aircraft, and airstrip or airport serviceability, clearances, fuel availability, weather and aircraft endurance. They also work out quotations based on the customers request using the government published charter rates on per hour and mile basis. They ensure the pilot is well briefed and signs the briefing sheet as confirmation that he has accepted the flight as per the briefing. For cargo flights they ensure it is probably secured as per the weight & balance schedule and the dangerous goods regulations are followed. They will also give accurate and timely quotations and ensure flights depart as scheduled and in-case of changes due to weather or technical problem the information is passed onto the clients in good time. This department reports direct to the Chief Pilot who is in-charge of flight operations.

Flights Operations Department.

Headed by an experienced pilot who has done resource management course, safety and customer care. He ensures recruitment and training of pilot from one aircraft to the other through base checks, route training or is carried out as per the company training manual and standard operating procedures (SOP).He manages the entire crew by ensuring regular retraining is done to enable the firm to be able to meet the international set standards of training.

Safety Department.

It is headed by a pilot who has undergone safety and aviation course and he/she reports direct to the Managing Director on safety issues that might affect the company operations on limitations, airstrip or airport runways and if they are any obstacles surrounding which might be hazardous. He does a regular visits of all the airstrips that the company operate into and access the situation. If he feels that a certain airstrip is a threat to safety he will advice the Managing Director and the Chief Pilot for suspension of flights into that airstrip/airport until the situation is rectified. He organizes for weekly meetings and seminars for all flight and ground operations to deliberate on safety issues and implement them as deemed fit to enable the company operate safe and with the international set standards.

Maintenance Department.

We maintain high standards of maintenance by adhering to the manufacturers manual and ensuring the maintenance company engaged in maintaining our aircraft is an Approved Maintenance organization by the Civil Aviation Authority of the country of Registry. Also we ensure they are quality certified organization and their engineers are well trained on all the types of the aircraft they maintain. We also ensure any modification recommended by the manufacturer is done in accordance with the manual and the engineers are sending by their maintenance organization to be trained on the new technologies.
